Capital is more valuable
when it travels with experience.
Planit Capital is an active investment and capital firm. We invest our own capital, advise founders and management teams, and selectively facilitate debt and growth financing for companies we believe in.
We grew out of 20+ years of operating, building, and scaling consumer and manufacturing businesses in the U.S. and Asia — and a long-standing reputation for execution across product development, supply chain, and go-to-market strategy. Today we put that experience to work as investors, advisors, and partners to the founders we back.
Across every venture — capital, consumer, healthcare, community — we lead with integrity, operational depth, and a founder-first mindset.
o2 • what we do
02
Three ways we engage —
aligned, hands-on, selective.
Pillar I
We Invest
We deploy our own capital — typically $100K–$1M+ — into companies with revenue, momentum, and a clear path to grow. We’re hands-on by design: sourcing, supply chain, pricing strategy, margin optimization, contract negotiation, and board-level guidance.
If you want a check and silence, we’re not your fit. If you want a partner who has built and exited companies in your category, we should talk.
Pillar II
We Facilitate Capital
For larger needs — a sweet spot of $5M–$50M+, with full flexibility from $100K trade-finance lines to $50M+ asset-based facilities — we work alongside established private credit partners to structure financing that fits the business.
Engagements are non-exclusive. We’re compensated only when a transaction closes. Your incentives and ours stay aligned.
Pillar III
We Build Scale
Capital alone rarely wins. Through long-standing partnerships in Asia and a 20+ year operating heritage, we offer portfolio companies real manufacturing, sourcing, packaging, retail placement, and go-to-market execution across DTC, retail, and digital.
During COVID-19, we leveraged that infrastructure to deliver tens of millions of units of PPE and medical supplies — FDA medical masks, gloves, devices, and U.S.-made hand sanitizer — to major hospital systems and state agencies nationwide. The infrastructure is real, in place, and available to the companies we back.

Beyond Capital
Consumer & retail
Capital informed by operating experience.
Planit Capital brings more than 20 years of consumer-product and retail experience across product development, sourcing, manufacturing, licensing, marketing and distribution. Products and ventures Michael Planit has helped create, build or commercialize have contributed to more than $500M in cumulative retail sales.
That experience spans mass, drug, specialty, DTC and digital channels, with products reaching retailers including Walmart, Target, Walgreens, CVS, Five Below, Starbucks, Urban Outfitters and other national and specialty retailers.
Today, that operating experience is brought directly to Planit Capital’s investments, helping companies navigate the path from product and production through margin, distribution and scale.
entertainment & media
Investor. Producer. Capital Partner.
Planit Capital’s entertainment experience spans direct investment in film, Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, including The Cher Show on Broadway and I Spy a Spy Off-Broadway, as well as Executive Producer roles on The Brawler and Swing State.
The firm’s financing experience also includes a $4.3M short-term film-finance transaction, structured against a major studio receivable and providing capital for investment in Academy Award-winning Fences, starring Denzel Washington.
venture building
From capital to company creation.
Planit Capital selectively does more than invest. We found, fund and operate businesses where our experience, relationships and infrastructure can create an advantage, assembling teams and providing the capital, strategy and operating support required to move from concept to market.
Most recently, Planit Capital founded and fully funded Planit Candy, taking a new consumer concept from development to national retail distribution across 2,000+ stores within months, and Planit EI, an approved New York State Early Intervention Program provider created to expand access to early intervention services for children and families.
Note on real estate transactions: Planit Capital acted in advisory and introduction roles in connection with these transactions — sourcing, structuring, and connecting principals — and was not the direct lender or capital provider.
o5 • Methodology
05
People first.
Then product.
As an active investor, we partner with companies where we can be hands-on — supporting founders with investment capital, structure, supply chain, go-to-market strategy, and selectively facilitating complementary debt or growth financing.
Our success isn’t built on saying “yes.” It’s built on execution, alignment, and knowing when to say “no” — responding quickly, saving everyone time, and protecting the integrity of every introduction we make.
